One of the best around is John Binion in the metro detroit area. Great player, better instructor. reasonable rates. I think 35/hr (2hr blocks). (248) 543-5614

I second this, you can't be the price and John is a great guy on top of it. He will travel around the metro Detroit area as well

The absolute best instructor in MI today is Lance Cowles, PBIA Advanced Instructor. Lance is not only one of the best players in MI, but also teaches SPF stroke techniques, and can teach you how to play any game at a high level. He also offers PBIA instructor certification training. Find him in Battle Creek at his Cue Sports Academy, or call 269-317-2898. Lance is a full time professional instructor...not just some player that gives lessons.

Jason is highly knowledgeable, the holder of two Guinness records in pool. We've spoken about crafting an instructional video together. A PBIA instructor is almost always a good bet, however.
