US recreational pool player stats?

Does anybody know where I can find recent statistics on recreational pool/billiards players in the US? I see there are a couple of places offering statistics for $400 or more, which I find kind of steep. I just need simple statistics like: number of adult people who play pool, how often they play (a year, month, week), percentage male/female. I hear the latest number is around 30 million down from a high of around 65 million in the sixties. I also heard that, of the 30 million, half of them play every two weeks on average. Is this even close?

If anybody knows where to find good numbers without paying an arm, I would appreciate it. Thanks
