Just back from a superb refinish at Bob Frey's shop is this crazy-curly Tiger maple widow that I recently acquired.
Aside from the impressive wood (Bob said you just don't find maple like this anymore) and orig cortland wrap, there are old Westinghouse micarta ferrules. To me, this is a great bonus.
One more thing that sets it apart is that it's a 59" cue, even split.
Full shafts, all perfectly straight, it's a playing machine. :yeah:
She may end up on Open Billiard Market soon. :groucho:
best,
