One of the earlier guys that was also a player in the good old days, and learned to play from Luther Lassiter, who he also made a cue for.
I'm always looking for that cue, and I know how he identified it for Wimpy.

It's hard to find him or his cues. He doesn't advertise, and doesn't want the publicity because he wants to build on his terms and not get buried under orders.
But man does he build some absolutely GREAT cues!
Basically by hand, at his speed, and with alot of care put into it.
And they are absolutley worth the wait.
He's been building cues since the 60's, but you don't hear even a whisper about him out there. And he still builds them the same way that he did back then.
The last time I talked to him a couple of years ago, he was debating on meeting Brad Simpson over his work. I don't know if that ever came about or not, but if you find some of his work for sale, you'll see what I mean.
I know some of you guys from around Georgia and South Carolina have some of his work, so how about some pictures?
I'll post some in the next day or so to get the ball rolling.
