As far as I am concerned it is a record. Recorded on video is good enough for me.
Maybe one day billiards will get the respect it deserves but I am not holding my breath.
Mosconi's record was during an exhibition, no video, eye witness only. There were big runs over 526 witnessed but were always shot down. Brunswick was the Supreme Ruler at the time.
Cranfield 726
Parker 642
Eufemia 626

Once you get into a rhythm you start scoring and you are playing at a steady pace

32... fantastic!

i think 40 in 4 innings is also a record.

hell, he shot a seven off the break, which is very strong.

i have been playing 3 cushion once a week for a few months now
and the best i have done is eight in practice and six in a game.

I think all of the runs you listed should be duly recognized.

Not that it makes any practical difference, but the practice run Cranfield claimed is 768 and the one that Eufemia claimed in his book (with some details) is 625. I have no idea about the authenticity or accuracy of Parker's claimed run. There is also Mosconi's 6something in practice with Ursitti present. I think there is a problem with anecdotal run reporting. Eufemia should have had someone create an affidavit.
