I did do a search.
One thread from 2016 said it was a dump.
I will be in town this weekend for the Total Eclipse.
My first time in Nashville. Looking to check out a good spot.
Any tips?

I took a trip to TN not too long ago and was very glad to have researched the scene well.
One place I was going to go to, it was said 'they will bet it up here, what do they care, you aren't leaving with it'.

I did not let the rental car go there.

By many accounts, lots of chemicals fuel the scene there.

I was there twice a few years ago for apa.singles regional tournament. Nice diamond tables in good shape but i know nothing about the local scene there..

Hit Kayne Prime in the Gulch and then Jeff Ruby's downtown for a cigar and a good Port before you hit Tootsie's downtown. Screw the pool scene, there's waaaay to much good music up there. Heading there tomorrow morning.

You will need reservations at Kayne but it's well worth it. Don't wait...they fill up really fast, if they aren't already.

I've only been there once, a buddy was playing in a tournament and I went to watch and just check it out. Tables are nice, like what was said above. I plan to go back, seems like a nice place to play. Actually ran into a buddy I hadn't seen in years and had a great time. I live about 35 miles from there. If you're going on the weekend, shoot me a PM maybe we can meet up and shoot a few racks.

Anytime I've been in Nashville, I've never gone to the Grand Ole.....
...the street singers and live entertainment in the worst dives are better than what you
get in most cities at their pricy venues.

You never know who's gonna be the next Kristofferson or David Alan Cole.....
...I don't drink much, but I always go bar crawkin' in Nashville.

Downtown was freaking packed last night. Can't imagine what it is like on a weekend!! Tootsies was stacked with, well, stacked beautiful women. I couldn't imagine living here.

Sleep in late Sun, Total Eclipse Mon.
