Correct me if I`m wrong, but it`s a 3/8-10 pin. You can get that tap from any cue supplier.
Not sure if Joe uses a .302" or .308" diameter, but it certainly looks like a flat bottom pin.

I'll take the job but I'm not renting out my tap. Mike is correct, it's 7/16x11 (G-10).
If you want to send me the work, I'll do it but the tap doesn't leave my shop.
I bought mine from Atlas, yrs ago. PM if interested.

I just checked Atlas. The tap is $35.75. Dude, spend the money & get two.
Barringer uses the same pin so you'll have one for each. Lol

Mike is also correct in his advice.

Cue com. Mr. Barringer uses a 7/16x10.

I'm not saying you're wrong Mike, I'm not quite that bold.
However, I've built many shafts for Cogs and I know them to be 7/16x11.
I've also built a few shafts for Joe B. cues and used the same tap.
No one has complained. This might be worth investigating.
I'm not saying I'm right either because builders do change things at times.
We all know the reason for bastard thread pins; exclusivity, as in,
if you want another shaft, I'm the only one that can do it.

Regarding Joe B. cues, I recall at least on a couple of occasions, the client
sending the whole cue for a perfect mate/match. They fit as they should.
Like I said, things change. Maybe that's the case here.
I have no interest in talking to Joe B. Maybe you could ask him ? Lol

Have a GREAT day Sir.

My bad. I did a google search and 3/8-10 was what came up.
But if it's 3/8-11.5 or 7/16-11 as KJ says. Atlas has both.
This is another argument for live threading as I see it...

regardless of the tool, you still have to get the thread right,,,,,,,,,

I'm not sure where you'll find a 7/16x10.
That's a new one on me.
Hopefully you were meaning 7/16x11 & 3/8x11.5.
BTW, it's not actually 3/8.

What is the minor on those 3/8-11.5 pins?
I have done athat few 3/8-11 shafts and they had the .308" diameter, the same as the modified 3/8-10 pin.

Well, I always enjoy a good chuckle with my morning coffee. Okie dokie boys. Maybe a future discussion will be? Proper fit versus a 16 year old thinking he can satisfy a 60 year old call girl. A bit rude but on point.
Good luck.
