Flying out to Dallas Fort Worth area next month for a business prospect in plano. Looking for some billiard rooms. I'll be visiting my cousin who used to shoot, but fell out of the scene. I'll be there for a week so I might be looking at some team on league nights. Let me know some details, show me some love Texas!!!!!!

Well, in case anyone else is coming to my hometown of Ft Worth.. (8ft table land)

Speeds at Hwys 360 and 30 and its Owning brother Clicks are pretty good. Both are pretty well maintained and neither are too smoky. Clicks is nicer but a little harder to find and always busy with league action. Speeds is more available. Neither are social venues - don't go looking for skirts.

Non-smoking is rare in Ft. Worth, Main Event is a non-smoking venue with lots of good tables and crap cues. Currently, their hourly play is free M-Th 4-7, 10-close. Most of the minors are bowling or in the arcade - lots of couples playing pool here.

Over in Dallas, I only know Wizards - right on I-35E in Richardson - used to go for free pool at lunch time occasionally when I worked in Plano - very nice place.

I won't mention other places I've played, empty and smoky, poorly maintained - just know that if you pick one at random your chances are not good.
