Hi -
I've always wanted to try an extra long cue so I bought the Elite ELBT01. It's 62" long. It's a lot of fun to mess around with. Not sure if I'll use it in tournament play but man I can reach some spots I couldn't reach before.
It seems to me that the shaft is very light. I like to "throw" the cue by completely loosening my grip and letting the shaft slide forward to strike the cue ball. I'm more used to a heavier shaft which facilitates the cue shaft sliding forward. With this new cue, the butt has most of the weight and it feels (at least mentally) like when I throw the cue the butt drops toward the table more than it travels forward toward the cue ball.
Question: Is there any way I can increase the weight of the shaft?
Thanks
Russ
