2018 Matches you would like to see

Just curious to see what people would like to see in the upcoming year match wise.
1 pocket matches I would like:
Dennis Orcullo v Alex Pagulayan
Chohan v Dennis O (round 3)
Efren v well, anyone (lol); just want to watch the master go at it one more time!
Danny Smith v Billy Thorpe
John Schmidt v Scott Frost (JS has an underrated game imo)

These are just a few off the top of my head, any others you would like to see?

For organized events, I am really looking forward to the Efren Reyes Cup...that should be an intense and awesome event, not to mention long overdue!

Derby City is, of course, worth watching!

It can be any game of course, I just prefer 1 pocket when it comes to individual match ups.

Thoughts?

In either 9 ball or 10 ball I would love to see the following matches races to 25 best 2 out of 3 or one long race:

Shaw vs SVB
Biado vs Orcollo
KaCi vs Filler
Big Ko vs Little Ko

I'm going to go with the most recent challenge match. I want to see Scott Simonetti versus Jason Hunt. Got to billed as Good vs. Evil, which one wins!!!!

These are just matches I want to see, not matches that I will think actually happen. No matches mentioned will probably happen. One can dream though right :thumbup:

The Efren Reyes Cup is not an actual event. It was just pitched as an event to potential sponsors, but is not a go at this point. The Matchroom rep said something to that effect in another thread a few weeks back.

It can't be a 'race to anything" if it's one pocket.

Somebody stated that they wanted a race to 8 in one pocket. If it's one pocket it might be a slow brutal slog but it certainly will not be a race.

This thread makes me miss TAR because it was the one place where you might see these matchups. A Shaw vs SVB race to 100 10 ball could be epic. And I would love to see that Bergman vs Morra matchup that someone else mentioned. They have chirpped at each other periodically and I would love to see it actually happen.

Shane and Shaw race to be 100 prefer 9ball but 10 is ok
Shane vs Dennis O race to 30 1pckt
Shane/Shaw/Chang JL race to be 100 in any order as long as they all happen.
Cohan vs the world in 1pckt as long as Jeremy Jones is commentating.
Dennis/Shane/Chohan/Smith/Brumback in a huge long ring game of banks, again with JJ commentating
Kaci or Filler vs Bergman in a race to 100
Donnie Mills with the soft break against ANYBODY in the world race to be 100.
Jason<-----if I win the lottery they will all happen

I'd also like to see Siming Chen vs the bottom half of the top 100 fargo for America lololol - yes, I'd be wide open

Filler vs Kaci - superfast player vs superslow player. Two of the most talented young players in the world. It would be a real mental test for Filler to see if he could keep his cool.

Based on the DCC "scandal", I think this is the match many would like to see:

"Shane and Shaw race to be 100 prefer 9ball but 10 is ok" (Jasonlaus post).

Would have all the drama and world class pool most of us could want :)

I'd like to see someone match up in 14.1 with John Schmidt. Maybe Ruslan Chinakhov vs John Schmidt to 300 or 400 points.
