Here is something you do not see everyday. This is not mine but I wanted to show it off. Bob Runde Schon's from R1 to R16. The complete set.

I would venture the R-1 plays the best, with my 2d favorite being that R-6

You read my mind. Those are my two favorite Schons, though I've only ever owned an R-1. Always wanted an R-6. The R-1 I had played just about as well as any cue I've owned.

I have an R1 and it does play the best out of all my other R series but I would still love to own that R7 and a few others in that collection.

Thanks for showing those off. To me, that is the ultimate collection.

HHMMMM That looks like my old R10. If so, that cue was special the way it hit.

Great collection Troy!!!!!

Very nice.. Too bad the R-10 had its cap replaced and they didn't put the old script logo on it and maybe even changed the material....You can also tell which cues are the earlier ones due to the use of milk white delrin caps which were only used for a couple years.

Though this very cool, it'd been really cool to see all early examples.

R1 and R6 are my favorites...as others have said.

I really prefer the old dashed rings over the metal rings too.

Very nice set! :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

What IS neat is all of these examples have the stitched maple rings..

If those are in order. I have a very early S14 with the brown phenolic joint. Sure brings back memories.
I keep getting PMs wanting to buy my Schon pictured below.

I am not really interested in selling it, but I am curious what it is worth. PM me estimates.

Cues

That R5 has some neat point wood, I believe it’s ebony in the R5 points.. all the R5’s I’ve seen is jet black...
