Earl was winning tournaments for 25 and 30K thirty years ago! Plus getting several 50K a year endorsement deals! Now he has to travel thousands of miles to get a chance at 3.6K (and zero endorsements). He couldn't even do that unless all his expenses were paid either. A pretty sad comedown for a once great champion, but all of his own making.
