The case is turning out great. I love the stitching, round pocket and material. It's a piece of artwork.

Thanks bud, I wanted something very clean with a simple but elegant look to it. Two 8" pockets towards the bottom of the case like my old swift case, minimal brass hardware (dull, not shiny), no chalk pocket as I only keep a few accessories, the leather looks tough, and a case like this is only going to look better and better as time goes on. It reminds me of an old leather bomber jacket. The older it gets, the better it will look. I sent them a lot of specs and they nailed all of my requests. Great group to work with.

Here is a not so simple case I got a few years ago and at the time I don't know the same guy may still be doing the leather work used to be a tattoo artist. He wanted to be turned loose on this and John Barton had a lot of input and I love the case. Believe the gentleman's name was Jiasen and as you can see he signed the case on the bottom.

Zhen Hai (Jen Hi) is the artist who drew and tooled this case. I designed and cut all the parts including the unique way we did the seam side handle and d-ring holders.

Is that one yours? I thought you were considering one. Didn't know you had one coming? Either way, that's a great case! Very subtle but elegant. Tough looking too!

The button was pushed when I saw the round pocket case. Certain features lead me to the one shown. It's fairly big...about the same size a my 4/8Hybrid. It's really nice. I now have more cases than brains. I think I'm done. Best bet is to stay away from JB's website. The weak will fold...and I'm a sucker for a classy case. Bomber Jacket look is right. You'll like the top and the way it latches.
