Cue tip replacement

Hi, I would like to learn tip replacement. I've seen kits and such but figured I'd have some better luck here asking on here. I'm looking at purchasing a small lathe for repair and have some one piece cues I can attempt on. Thank you, and look forward to hearing from everyone.

Here is an old reply of mine from another tip installation thread with a description of the basic process that I use personally.

Tip work is relatively easy when you have the right tools and glue along with some patience. Just be careful that both the tip and the ferrule are flat prior to installing a new tip on and be careful not to cut in to the ferrule while trimming down the tip

Have fun learning
