Is it just me? but I think it's hilarious that when you go to the She Shark's web page and find the WPBA logo it says, "Not Endorsed By... ... WPBA"

Why put there logo on their in the first place?

Wonder what the WPBA think about it?

I am not allowed to mention the network until they release the information, which won't be for a few months. There is still a LOT of work to do and production starts in mid March. I can tell you that this network is the largest cable network on air and has had the #1 reality show for the last several years. And before you pass judgement, this show has been designed for BOTH pool players and non-pool players. There will be content to appeal to both, but the idea is to reach a very broad audience, and this particular network spends a LOT of money in advertising on competing networks as well as broadcast networks. I can tell you that the girls are VERY excited to work with each other. You may see 2-3 pool shows on TV over the next 18 months, but none of them will be like this. And if you don't know these women personally, after the series, you will, and you will want to check in for season 2.

Jeanette Lee, Loree Jon Hasson, Rachael Abbink, Akiko Kitiyama, Shanelle Loraine, Kathryn Fairchild and Dawn Fox.

Well If it is the channel I'm thinking of, then you should get a good audience for it, as long as it holds the interest. The concept of using women was smart since that is what you mainly see on ESPN pool wise whenever they do decide to broadcast it so people will of course know Jeanette, who is the only pool player that non pool players know. Plus the women have the sex appeal to keep the attention of the average Joe and they might have an empowering appeal to the average Jane flipping through the channels.

I'm going to watch it regardless... hope it does well for you.

This particular network averages 3+ million pairs of eyes for each of its shows, compared with TruTV 800K, SpikeTV 1.2M, Bravo, 1.6M, Animal Planet 1.8M, Discovery 2.25M, NatGEO 2.6M, most of which we have/had shows on. I have personally spent hours with these women, getting their back stories, so by the time of the series finale, you will know these women on a personal as well as a professional level. Their stories are just incredible and will be built into the show in various episodes.

I wish you the best of rolls getting this show on the air and to stay on the air. Seems like this one has a very good shot at making it. Getting Jeanette Lee to bring in both pool players and mainstream viewers is very smart IMO. Again, I wish you only the best with this show. Johnnyt

This will do more for pool than anything else we've offered as "save pool" suggestions: show beautiful people playing pool.

Of course, it will attract guys...but you'd be amazed at how it attracts women. Their thinking is "if I play pool, I'll be beautiful too." The Tennis Craze all over again.

People who arent pool players...

Well, folks that were NOT white trash hillybilly MOFO's still tuned in for that honey boo boo crap ;)

At least here, there is going to be good looking woman in the process, and sex sells, always did, always will.

Come for the girls, stay for the pool

Exactly, I never bought a storage locker, never blew into a duck call (ever) and never been married to an Atlanta Housewife, but I always seemed to get stuck on those channels. There's something about Nene Leakes or whatever her name is... she's one funny ass lady.

In the meantime, I'm rooting for the soccer mom!

Well I know you cant say the Network so I will say what I think it is. I'm assuming it's A&E (which would be good for pool considering the name of it is Arts and Entertainment) which had Duck Dynasty for years. If I am correct, I have no doubt that you have at least 1 successful season.

Not gonna lie, im always a skeptic, but you are selling it to me well. I really want to watch it.

How is this different from the other pool reality show conceps that has been presented here?
Why do the female players need to dress like pornstars?
Is there so little content or interest in pool, that the only way to get an audience is to focus on tits and ass?
I'm not a huge feminist by any means, but should male players wear spandex and play without a top?
That seems like a fair comparison to me.

This one appears to be no longer a concept but an actual thing that is going to happen.

Because Pool isnt enough by itself to attract the average Joe to tune in.
Is there so little content or interest in pool, that the only way to get an audience is to focus on tits and ass?
Correct. If people gave a shit about pool then the average professional pool player would net more then a middle class salary... and I think I'm being generous by saying they are bringing in that much.

You want to watch Efren like that?

:D
