Because we have laws that don't allow minors in our bars, which, apparently is the only place we play cue sports.

A dream we all have. Players at any level need to step up and spend some of their time. The game will be gone in this country unless the players take notice and do something for the game. Doing nothing will get you nothing.

Regarding alcohol, these kids go to bed early and most state law only requires an adult present, some have a time in the evening where kids aren't allowed. All that is not an excuse.

It only exists in this country due to immigrants
There has to be an american institution/movement put in place
As far as americans know it doesnt exist ive said this before its a culture that has to be bred into our kids
The current public cant be bothered to take on the task pf something that involves so much learning and discipline
Until that happens it will continue to be primarily something that sits in the shadows ,

He was being faeces in the bar comment

"Bollocks"!

Its' simple, when you see a youth watching you play .... introduce him to the game and let him hit a few with instructions.

The Problem is: not enough tables... Sample Q-Master Billiard have 76 tables. That 74 pool tables,1 snooker table, 1 billiard table. Amusement/Recreation Centers for youth only have pool tables.

I give people like Carl Conlon, D. Dieckman, Robert Byrne, and others not names THUMBS UP, for trying to keep the Junior 3C alive..even when they hit a wall.

Thanks to people like Paul Frankel (ProfessorQBall), Tom Paley, and Yesyura (Nothing But Billiards),not mention those behind the scene, for what they are doing at SBE each year. To teach youth about 3C!
