I was told it came from the Philippines. it's black with grey grooves throughout and a single layer tip.

They are a good water buffalo tip, reasonable pricing

I prefer the Super Pro, red laminated Water Buffalo, but they play close to the same.

I have a better than average, 'stroke' so I prefer a harder tip and more direct feel in the tip to the ferrule to my cue. I let my stroke move the ball, versus a softer 'tip' to move the cueball. This is one difference with a 'MEd, to Medium Hard Tip, compared to a 'Soft' tip.

They dont need much trimming or maintenance after the first, mushroom trimming,

Hope this helps a bit

If it's single layer, why am I seeing multiple layers? That's a Laminated tip. Brian.
