It's a real nice case.
Had a lot of shop dust , unused , just shelf wear.
The finish was 50/50 , glaze worn over most of the case from being handled.
Color was messy , the stain was old and worn , discolored.
Interior impeccable , perfect , sweet smelling , clean , thick and plush.
After dosing the leather with organic citrus liquid cleaner , the glaze broke easily , damaged color and dirt flew off.
I got down to raw leather quicker than I expected.
(this is a well made case , I love the stitched back)
So... what you see is just the first round , I'm going to apply original tints and lite stain.
The finish will be buffed and polished , "No Glaze".
The date stamp reads: J.Flowers , 2009 - 002.

Glad you like it. I designed it and worked on it. And we went on to make hundreds more. And Jiasen didn't make it, we did.

reply: John Barton vs JiaSen - Custom Cue Case

the very first photo compares Barton vs JiaSen. (Barton left , JiaSen right).
#1. the Barton case uses 1/8" inch thick rawhide.
#1. the JiaSen case uses 1/4" inch thick "Harness" leather.
#2. the Barton case interior looks flat , almost used in appearance.
#2. JiaSen's case interior is lush , full , thick by comparison.
Let's move on to the full case photo's for a better look at how we're spending our money.
#3. By comparison , the Barton case appears weak , flimsy , cheap.
(even Jack Justice makes a better supporting case than that)
and look how John Barton closes the case back - "Rivet's".
#3. now , look how JiaSen closes the case back - it's " Stitched".
JiaSen uses solid brass hardware.
Barton uses pot metal and coats it with antiqued liquid dip.
I Know Who Made My Case and I Know Who Made The Other.

You know what? Forget the olive branch I offered to you in PM. I feel like having some fun telling the J.Flowers Tribute case story again. It's funny when people try to tell me what I made and what I didn't and what materials I used and what I didn't.

You are here trying to come off like a leather expert when it's clear that you don't know what you're talking about. You throw out terms that you clearly don't understand in hopes that no one will challenge you. Well as the saying goes....if you mess with the bull you get the horns.

Be back in a little while to post some more information. Meanwhile, chew on this for a while partner.
