i just got off the phone with mark

i am so excited to be getting him to make me this table

i know full well i could get a table for less, but i have had 5 tables in the last few years and something is just always not right

for once i want something perfect, and this mark is a perfectionist

he is putting all new wood, even strengthening the structure

i saw him take over 9 hours just to hang a light over my table
the extent he went to was remarkable, finding the exact places to drill here, drill there, hand just so etc

craftsmanship is the word, pride in his work, not satisfied in just getting paid

well you guys know that i am trying to get his name out there,i just thought i
would let you know why

if you want a great table, one thart looks right and plays right too, call mark gregory at perfect pocketz

he actually knows which table is right and why

and what is needed to get the old gold crowns to play right with the new rubber

there is a tiny 1/8 inch difference in the new rubber, and you must make an adjustment to your table to make it fit

I certainly know how Mark can build the rails. I have one of the best tables around, with Mark's rails and RKC 42 point leveling system. Everything is perfect in every way.

I second what Dean said. Mark redid my table and maintains it. No one else. I had him recently set up my friend's Monarch. Once he does your table, you will want no-one else to touch!

I wish you the best of luck!
But............9 hrs. is a little much to hang a light. haha
That would definitely get you laid off. No matter how "perfect". ;)

Dean, Congrats on the table. Are you having this one done differently than the centennial mark did a few year ago?

I'm betting it's for sale before Mark hits the end of the driveway because it'll take Dean just about that long to shoot a ball, miss the pocket, blame it on the table....and throw it up for sale....LMAO

king cobra

you are so hard on a fella
just the other day ,you told these guys that i was not a top 20 player

i am finding it hard to get away with anything thanks to you

AS FAR AS 9 HOURS TO SET A BIG LIGHT

iT WAS A LONG TIME AND THATS WHAT IT TOOK TO
GET THE JOB RIGHT

I WASN'T PAYING BY THE HOUR,IT TOOK LONGER
THAN WE EXPECTED,BUT MARK DID WHAT IT TOOK

WHY DO YOU THINK I AM PAYING $25'000 for the table now?

I am an old man who loves pool,I know what I want and I don't mind paying for it
I hate to be over charged or cheated, but with mark I know I am getting a good deal

CONCERNING THE ONE I HAD BEFORE

The pockets were a little too tight,I couldn't make the shots at my skill level
A neighbor bought the table and I knew what I wanted this time

Mark is remaking a lot of new parts and using some pretty, and expensive wood

I couldn't let THE MOUSTACH<PITTSBURG BILLY aka BILLY INCARDONA
out do me,he jibed me for being so tight

said if he could afford the best so could I

So I bit the bullet

My wife encouraged me to get what I wanted

Pool has been so good to me,she figured it would pay for itself
SAID $25,000 is really just one good set of pool these days

THen she said,"Why don't you invite Billy over,he has a lot of money and loves to play?"

I didn't know what to say,but when I start playing Billy for $25k
I will need a psychiatrist,if you know BILLY you will know why.

Not even with a generous spot, not even recovering from his operation

not even with that old man routine that he works so well

I got the table ,but thats as far as I am going

Dean, there's always going to be someone who if they bought gold, wouldn't pay more than the price of lead to get it, but feel it's worth the price of Diamonds if THEY decide to sell it...LOL

if he works say the same speed as most cuemakers, i would guess about 300 years.

Process takes different times

he has to get
the parts,table etc

I am expecting my table in Feb or early march
he offered to do it when he had a scheduled trip to Texas

If you are in a big hurry call Mark

I think he just bought some beautiful woods

i can tell you one thing
he is a very hard worker and dependable as can be

give him a call

300 years?

Most Cuemakers?

An average cue should take much longer, can someone plant some Brazilian Rosewood trees today?

In the year 2317 the cue would be done and posted on AZBilliards in the Cue and Case gallery.

Mark refurbished my GC4 a few years ago. Table plays great. Me, not so much. He revamped the table, set it up and then kicked my a$$ on it. It was awesome.

Great guy who does great work.

Mark is indeed a master craftsman and perfectionist. He has been in my home several times now for my table and light and will be coming again when he delivers Deans table. If you ask me, he does not charge enough for his work and I have told him so. Mark is as solid a man as I have ever met and deserves all the rewards and success he gets. The ignorant moron who made the comment about over prices deserves a slap.
