could you describe what qualifies a player for the Pro Division?

Last year I thought it was unfair to see a player who's a 150+ ball runner in the Amateur Division.
I brought it up to the directors of the challenge and I recall bringing it up to you and I was ignored.

What guides do the CIS has to make a decision on wether a player is an amateur or a Pro?

I think you guys should clarify this.

Just because some amateurs compete in Pro events that shouldn't make them Pros, just like some amateurs should never be allowed to play as amateurs when in reality their true level of their skill could defeat many Pros in the back rooms.

This is Marc Vidal, and I do not consider myself a Professional Player,I may be borderline, but I am definately not making a living from playing in Pro tournaments and I go from 30th to 70th in the BCA rankings, very quick.

Furthermore, why do we have to reward a top semi-pro or amateur, for not competing on Open/Pro events? and then punish the low-Pro who plays in Pro events, by putting him in a division where it will be very hard to cash, nevermind win.

This is ruining pool, and making players not want to improve too much

Maybe you could add one more division and split like this to make it a tournament for everyone to have a chance.

BCA Open players only
BCA Advanced and Masters.
BCA Grand Masters and Pros.

Today is the Day

This should be starting today. Hopefully, they will convert many to the religion of 14.1 and there will be some fine demonstrations taped for our viewing pleasure.

Good luck to all involved.
