I hope Im in the right forum for this. What I have is a 55 Brunswick Centennial 9 foot table. It is a great shape but has the wider pockets and the black rubber drop pockets. I was wondering if you can shim the pockets and make them play tougher. I have leather inserts in the corner pockets which makes it a bit more challenging but the side pockets are original and 2 ball plus wide and are rather simple to pocket a ball. I have new Simonis 860 cloth to recover the table and want to make the pockets tighter before I fit the new cloth on both the rails and playing surface. Any help will be greatly appreciated. I live in Northern Wisconsin. Thanks again.

If you have not already, try posting this in the Talk to the Mechanic forum. If you can get a dialog with RKC I am sure he could answer any questions you may have. His user name is Real King Cobra, very knowledgable on tables.
