Michael,

Not to knock you or anything, But I have noticed you never put prices on your cues. Just offers.. Which has made me stop viewing your listings. I mean no harm from this. We have dealt before in the past and everything was great. Your a good guy to deal with. Just try posting a price on at least one of two items please so I can start viewing your cues again. :p

Josh, I would beg to differ that I NEVER put prices on my cues. I have 95% of the time put pricing on my cues, but recently, I have been focussed on trading - so CASH VALUE is irrelevant. The market is making that a better way for me to try out other cuemakers - which is why I do what I do. Value is what somebody has that they would like to trade with me for my cue. It has been ridiculous around here recently with low-balling, and people wanting to know what someone values their cue at - "MY TRADE VALUE" Ever gotten one of those PMs? Maybe on your sugartree?
My cue( and anybody else's cue) is worth what somebody wants to trade for it, and numbers are just that - numbers. The last few cues I have listed might not have had a $$ value, but too many threads go bad when a price is up there, and tire kickers attack it - hell - people with too much time on their hands, and no need or want to even buy the goods attack it. I would post some examples - but just check every other thread on the board in the last 2 months - Am I wrong?

No offense, I understand where you are coming from, but I truly want to see what another person has on the boards that would want to trade for my cue, and I do not need some superficial $$$ value to hold back a trade. Whether my cue is "worth" more or less - due to some superficial #. Value is in the eye of the beholder, and the eye of the admirer, and as long as their eyes meet, a deal is made.
So I will try to place more pricing on my cues, when I am trying more for a cash sale than a trade. I believe in that too, but wish others would understand, and hopefully less issues would develop around here. THE PRICE IS RIGHT MENTALITY is getting crazy around here. Where's BOB BARKER when you need him? Too many DREW CAREYs around here.

I hope that answers your question.

Ok maybe the word "never" was the wrong choice. I should have said lately you fail to include a price.

Which I have seen a few cues of yours lately I have been interested in but all I saw was make an offer or trade offers. and not wanting to play the numbers game I just forgot about them.

Sorry, I shouldn't have said anything.. Your a good guy to deal with. Best wishes in all your future deals.

To further add I have used the make an offer pitch a few times as well. Just never multiple cues back to back. Again, No offense in anything I said and sorry.

I am looking for an offer in the mid $400 range on this cue, including shipping, but if someone offers me something I like - I might just take it. Eye is in the beholder.

Any offers??

Cash is king, but trades are nice also.

Michael

That helps but I agree with Josh. I like the cue but not interest in guessing.

I am asking $450

. So are you an interested buyer? Do you want me to tell you my paypal?

Look, If you don't like the way Mike posts his cues don't buy them, and if you wanted to know an exact price you can pm him. Everything that was just said about the way he posts his cues should have been said in private through a pm, not posted here to scare off potential buyers. Mike is a good guy and is trying difrent things to move his cues in a horrible market.
Cut the guy some slack.

Nice cue Mike good luck with the sale. Carolina has some of the best Fleur De Lis inlays I have seen.....450 is straight up stealing......

I didn't have a problem with Mike's way of posting. I saw the other Carolina, liked it and sent him an offer. I told him what I had to offer and he was very easy going and bam, done deal. If you like the cue you'll get more details about it, if you don't then you'll move on to the next. Good luck selling the other cue.

Bump

This cue is still available for trade.
Any offers or questions?

Thanks,

Michael
