Very Nice Looking Cue

I have always liked the look of olive wood, but a lot you cue makers do not use it. The wood you selected is very nice, good job

It is very difficult and rare to find nice figured olivewood and it takes a lot to season it, though I think Bryan cores his cues, so that wouldnt matter much.

Thanks guys for all the comments. It is a stunning cue. Bryan was going to put black phenolic collars and I told him to change it to brown and the result is there. Awesome!

is it cored? i want to do some with with olivewood but havent found any yet

The olivewood is cored but the hit that you get from a non-cored olivewood is better. You really need to leave a piece of olivewood sitting for quite some time to let it dry to make a non-cored olivwood cue.
