I'm in love. :)

1 1/2 years in the making and worth every second.

Ebony into Birds Eye & Curly Maple.
Everything white is nicely grained Ivory
Ivory Joint (Radial Pin)
8 Veeners (Blk,Wht,Blk,Purple,Purple,Blk,Wht,Blk) Can't tell in the pics tho :(
Mitered Veneer Boxes
Silver Rings , Borders , Etc
Abalone
Razor Sharp Everything , perfect points

This is my absolute definition of a "Custom Cue" :

I hand picked out all the woods from rough blanks , the veneers used and the leather for the wrap. Specified the weight , the balance and spent a day in the shop with Chris tuning the shaft size and taper to the N'th degree until perfect IMO. I designed and built all the inlay patterns that were used and the layout of them on the cue as well as the clamps and jigs for the mitered & veneered boxes , his first.

Chris did an amazing job building it and it turned out even better than I hoped it could be. Can you tell how giddy I am ? :D

Here are the pics that I'm not happy about but I'm trying to get better ones ;) ,

Thanks for looking ,

Jay.

Very nice cue, I love the veneered boxes. I also like the inlays alot as well.

The more Nitti cues I see posted, the more of a fan I'm becoming. A lot of unique inlay designs and very nice work.

Thanks , he's a perfectionist to the minor detail for sure.

I'll try and get a couple real fine pics of the inlays. I'm having trouble I think with the Ivory/Ebony contrast and the lighting where the 2 kinda blur unless it's at an insane resolution thats way to big for here.

I'm not asking for the price you paid for the cue, but I would like to know your opinion of his pricing compared to other makers.

Based in his quality and construction methods IMO , his cues are a pretty good deal price wise. You always get a little more than you pay for and he backs it up 100%. I've seen him do full refinishes and even replaced inlays on cues of his that were sent in years later for wraps or tips and he wasn't 100% happy with them now. His standards literally go up daily. :)

I honestly think he's one of the big names that just isn't as big as some of the big names. . . yet. :)

Mr Nitti does some mighty fine work...and I am really liking the original design inlays. Definitely a very nice cue from a great maker!!

Ooo , someone noticed. :)

Most who have seen it ask if they are Preds or OBs I hade made to match and I have to tell them , no they are not Laminated shafts , just good old maple like it used to be 30+gpi and smooth like butta. :)

Thanks for noticing.
