I recently got a cue that was made by Jason Mowdy and it is wonderful. I met him at Classic Billiards in Portland Oregon a little while ago, got to chatting and low and behold, he makes cues. I am actually pretty envious, since he is only 5 years older than I and makes a phenominal cue. Beautiful point work, some of the darkest ebony I have ever seen, perfectly balanced, incredible shaft, ivory joint with a radial pin, I mean seriously, who could ask for much more. I took it to my local hall the day after I got it and everyone I let play with it was very impressed. Two guys wanted his number just from seeing the cue! I went to another hall, and some guy offered me $400 and his his Roger Pettit cue. I have nothing bad to say about Jason or his cue. I am actually trying to figure out how to get his next cue, as I have already seen the forearm, and all I can say is gorgeous. Jason, great f***in job!

Thank you Patrick for the kind words. Look forward to doing business with you in the future. Also look forward to beating you at numerous games of cribbage.
By the way the cue i am holding in my avitar is your cue!

I think its fantastic. I am not a big fan of BEM but after seeing that forearm I might be changing my tune. It is really beautiful. The only thing I have any qualms with is the position of the rings on the butt sleeve. I have seen a few cues lately that have the rings that way and I am still trying to decide if I like it. Though I do LOVE the ring work.
