I have a friend who has unfortunately run into some financial difficulties, and so I'm selling his setup for him.
Everything was bought brand new in May, so is less than three months old and in like-new condition.
1) McDermott M82A (link to the McDermott cue page) 18.8oz, 15.25oz butt, 3.55oz shaft. The tip appears to be a triangle. Unfortunately, my calipers have conked out on me at the moment, but the shaft appears to be in the 12.8-13.0mm range.
There is also a second shaft with the cue, a Jacoby shaft that looks like a solid 13mm. Weighs 3.6oz. I'm not sure what the tip is but it has a few layers and feels like a medium. One thing to note is the second shaft does not have a matching brass ring on it.
The McDermott by itself retails for $329, although sells most places online for about $260. This one is indistinguishable from new, aside from some chalk on the tips, and with the $90 Jacoby shaft as well I'm asking SOLD.
2) Palmer J/B cue. 19.9oz. Single piece black phenolic tip/ferrule, 13mm. This cue breaks and jumps like a monster. Quite a few players around here use these, and I think they are the best bang for the buck jump/break cues around. Retail is around $100. I'm asking SOLD.
Note: This is not the "famous" Palmer from the 1960s, rather a newer company. Think on the level of J&J but seems to be of higher quality.
3) leather Instroke-like 3x5 case. This case has no brand on it, but appears to be just like a Vincitore leather case (which itself, is basically a copy of the Instroke leather case). Case is in immaculate condition, and appears to be of very good quality. Also comes with foam spacers for the tubes, and a cue cube.
I'm not a leather expert by any means, but the leather on the case appears to be between the nice leather like on a whitten or justis case, and the "B" leather that some cases advertise. A- leather? B+ leather? It looks nice and is scuff-free except for one very small and almost unnoticeable scuff on the edge of the lid.
SOLD.
I will sell them separately or as a package.
Paypal accepted and preferred. I'm not in position to accept any trades at the moment, but I will listen to all cash offers. Thank you.
