I have a friend in my pool league that is a wood worker. He's built my portable lathe box to house my Mid-Size Cuesmith lathe and has recently finished building me a couple cue display racks.

The cue display racks come unstained/painted, holds 10 cues, dissembles with 2 bolts to become more compact for transportation. These are designed to be used at trade shows, expos for displaying cues... not intended or designed for long periods of use!

He's selling these for $45 each plus shipping to Continental US (introductory price) These could be ordered in other words also, with a price adjustment.

Horizontal?

Would you really want to display cues for any period of time like this?

I only ask in that I was always told to store/keep cues in a vertical position to prevent warpage.

Is it ok if its just the forearm?

anywho, I love the wood in the closest cue, it is also on the right hand side in the 2nd pic.

You would not store cues with these, but they would be perfect for displaying your cues at a billiards show, expo, or tournament where you were selling cues. Looks like you would display only the butts and keep the shafts in the case until sold. The fact that they break down easily would make them very easy to handle.

Joe- You are exactly right! Display racks for cues for sale when at an expo or show!

You should never "store" your cues in this method, but it's great for displaying or showing off cues for sale or in a collection.

I plan to get silver/grey name plates to place on the bottom of the back side of the rack. "Zimmerman Custom Cues" and "www.zimsrack.com", one on each side of the divider.

This is a nice display rack when used at a tournament, expo or even just to hold the cues when taking photos. I'm picking up name plates for the 2 displays that I have and will use them this weekend at the Gateway Amateur Tour Qualifier event and will post additional photos soon after.

$45 plus shipping and they come unstained/painted, that way you can paint/stain them to your liking. He can also make these in other woods also, for additional charge.
