Here is another great playing cue from Paul Sumrall (AZ member "sonofthunder"). This cue was just finished up and Paul has it ready to be packaged/shipped. Paul does splice his own sneakies and this cue is new straight from Paul!

Bocote full-spliced into a killer piece of Birdseye Maple
Ivory half-joint
Ivory hoppe ring
Ivory ferrules
phenolic rings
phenolic butt cap
2 shafts - 12.8mm shaft with parabolic taper
3/8x10 pin
59"
19" balance point

Butt: 14.8oz
Shaft 1: 4.3oz
Shaft 2: 4.3oz
Total: 19.1oz

Pretty cue John. I talked to Doug this weekend at a tournament and he was saying a lot of good things about the cue you took to Clicks. I still can't get out to test hit though...my car just died on me :(. Will Paul make it out to the State Open?

I sent both of the full-splice w/veneers cues back to Paul and he sold the one Doug was telling you about. It was a killer cue though, I'm sorry you didn't make it to the tournament to test it out. You would have loved it since I know you like stiff-hitting cues! I am not sure if he will be at the state open or not. I don't recall him going down there the past few years, but one of the cue dealers from Lubbock who goes usually has a few of his cues there. A few players in the open will also be playing with his cues. I'll talk to Paul and see if he was planning on going. I was hoping to go to that tournament, but my wife's parents are coming into town that weekend....

Paul is back from Vegas and decided to add a second shaft with Ivory ferrule for this awesome full-splice! Adjusted specs and new price added in first post!

Awesome! I hope you enjoy the cue as it is a true player and Paul does great work!! You got a great deal considering it has two high gpi shafts with Ivory ferrules, Ivory Joint, and Ivory hoppe ring!

Thanks, this cue is exactly my style and Ive played with one with almost the same specs for a couple of years made by Jim Odom. This will be my playing cue for many years to come. I will right up a full review in the general forum after I put a few miles on it.
