Well, since I'm pretty much allergic to a lot, dust included, I have looked at this unit.

I don't mind working with one of these, but I can't find any info on how small particles the filter takes out or if this is any good at all.

Any one which have tried it? Good/Bad?

Any kind of feedback would be appreciated.

A young fella that I did a bit of grain hauling for, wore one similar to that.
His was more like a full face motorcycle helmet but the filter/fan setup was the same. He paid around $1000.00 for his I believe he said, altho I could be wrong. He had asthma and said it worked just fine. As long as it seals around your face well.

Make a Delrin or nylon spacer.
The hole should be around 5/16.
At least 13MM thick and about 15 MM od.

not firmly....

how should I assemble it? thanks:confused:

You must be missing some kind of spacers or something. You have a hugh gab between the nut so something must be missing. If not the "Knee" which the blade falls back on is adjustable so you could move it up to the nut.

I would however recommend you starting a new thread for a broader feedback, since people clicking on this thread is interested in dust removal and the use of a mask to prevent inhaling of dust.

Hope you work it out.
