Dear friends:
If you are attending the upcoming Predator World 14.1 Championship in NJ next week (8.25.08 -8.30.08), I have an interesting project for you. It will increase your enjoyment at the tournament and promote this game a step further. In addition this will bring out more excitement than just score reports for people who can't be there.
Here is what I'd like you to do:
1, Print out some blank table layout templates ( http://cuetable.com/Downloads/ ) and bring them with you to the tournament. Don't forget to bring a pencil as well
2, When you see a shot that are either interesting, intelligent or just plain stunning, draw it on paper. Also write down some details about the shot.
3, Later at night, put the layouts you gathered onto CueTable. Post it to any forum (AZ, RSB, CueTableLibrary) and share the excitement with people.
Set a goal for yourself. It will be great if you can draw one or two great shots a day. Hopefully this will provide people an active learning experience instead of the old passive game watching habit.
As a small thank you gesture, I am giving out some nice looking shirts to any participants who are willing to draw 5 or more interesting layouts from this tournament and share with straight pool fans online.
