Anyone have an old Runde are Schon shaft with the stitched ring work and black collar for sale or trade please send me a pm .

I have the extra shaft for the cue that just got stolen . Standard shaft, maple stich ring , and everything you want except it's not straight. The ring work could be saved and a new shaft made . Jim

Thanks Jim I am sorry to hear about your cues getting taken . That just makes me sick and I hope you get them back some how . I also hope the assholes who took them get whats coming to them .

How much would you like for your shaft ?

Thanks Chris I got a pm on the same shafts . The funny thing is when I checked into it I found out the seller is from the same town here in Iowa as I am :D I will give him a call tonight .

Larry I have one like you have picture of it sez Schon no IV bought 2 years ago 13mm 29" played 2 games with it gave $160 I will take $125! I bought it for a second shaft for a R8 then When I bought the cue I asked Steve to find me one found out Schon still has them so I jumped on it then Steve called said he found me one and bought it so being a man of my word I bought it so he wouldn't be left holding it! If you want the new one it's yours just let me know by PM Thanks Ron
 
Just as an fyi for those who may not know, just because a Schon shaft has the maple stitch rings doesn't mean it's a Runde era shaft. Evan has made lots of newer shafts to match the old R series butts.

I don't think the shaft in your picture is really that old, the shafts with Schon written on them with stitch rings are still available from Evan. The stitch ring is not exactly the same, but is close. I bought one just a couple years ago, it is OK, but I like the old shafts with micarta ferrules better.

If you go to the url listed below, you'll see that Schon is on the new shafts, it's not on the old ones.
