Here is a pic of my 8yr old enjoying his new Klapp cue at Chalks in RI. He's been showing it off to everyone, and tomorrow he needs to bring in 5 things to school he likes to do.. included is a peice of pool table felt :grin:

BTW, he sent the cue to me free of charge ( I sent him a check for shipping ), because he wanted to help promote and grow the game. Classy guy all the way.

Very cool,sounds like a good guy and the sport needs more of them,my son is turning 7 in a week and I have to get him a cue like that. :)

He's on here as "nucues". I have his phone number but I feel uncomfortable giving it out without prior OK. I know he has the cue business so that info may be public but maybe the phone I have is his private line or something.

steve klapp custom cues was 1 of our feature sponsers at the bartrum moore match! i just receiver a cue from steve and i must say it is beautiful! he donated it to TAR for 1 of our next giveaways! as soon as we get pics of it we will get them up!

Short splice, full splice or veneer?

If you're talking about my son's cue, not a full splice, no veneers. Zebrawood handle, ebony forearm with zebrawood inlays. He is very exited to have his own cue, and even the cheap case I got for him made him happy.

BTW, he can run 4 balls, has a very good stoke, and makes long straight shots pretty well. I see a future A player in him.
 
Thats awesome. I bought my son a cue a couple of years ago, he is now eight. He still shoots with it and loves it.
