I got a Talisman 3x5 a few years ago just when they came out with the pvc tubes.
Last night as I walked out of the pool hall "something" snapped... :angry:
The case hit the floor and got bruised a bit
thank god the cues weren't damaged
When I picked it up I noticed that the carabiner (or what ever it's called) got loose... it looks like it wore down by the pressure of the weight of the case and snapped out of the joint...
I never liked the straps that came with the Talisman case but I assumed that they were designed to at least carry the case....
Here is a picture of the snapped carabiner and next to it is a strap from an Instroke Premier case (3x7). See the difference in quality and mass of the joint and the carabiner it self ...
Just another spec added to the list of "things to look for in a new case..."
