I have a really nice player from Cory Barnhart. I think Cory is one of the top young cuemakers of today, and I also believe that time will prove him to be among the elite cuemakers of all time, but we have a ways to go on that.
This particular cue is one of Cory's 5 point, short-spliced players. It has 5 dead-even, razor sharp points of nicely figured bubinga, joined to a nice figured bubinga body, with a thin black phenolic ring separating them. The forearm is some of the sickest curly maple that you will find...almost irridescent.
This cue is in excellent, played condition with only one small ding (see pix) and some shaft bluing. I played with it for a while today...wonderful, stiff hitting cue.
Specifications:
- Butt: 15.3 ounces
- Shaft: 3.9 ounces, 12.75mm, Aegis ferrule, Triangle tip
- Black G-10 radial pinned, flat-faced wood to wood joint with a black phenolic sleeve
- Black joint collars with rings comprised of 20 hand inlaid silver dots
- Super, super curly maple forearm
- Five razor sharp, dead even points of figured bubinga
- Thin black phenolic ring separating points and body
- Solid figured handle and body of figured bubinga
- Black phenolic butt cap with 20 hand inlaid silver dots, and signed "Barnhart"
SOLD!! Thanks!
