Dude! Save your $!!! Get yourself some flourescents- a wood box is nice but sure increases cost.

LOL -- This baby is going in the living room and the Mrs. says "It's Perfect!"

Still searching for the best deal on this fixture if anyone has any vendor advice.

Billiard Warehouse is the best deal. Ask for a break from Greg. That's not a cheap light.

I just went through this exercise.

I've not tried dimmable flourescents. I am a huge fan of the CFB's though.

I get the daylight version and love the light on my table.
