Hey Mason
Great looking cues. What kind of wood was used on the 3rd cue from the left? Whatever it is, it sure has some very nice grain to it. Thanks for sharing. Jeff

I see it now. Under the cues. Red Variegated Cocobolo
That cue & the whole batch looks very sweet.
Great work Mason

Beautiful work Mason. I really like your ring work and the BEM in the cue on the end is awesome! Good thing your a cuemaker and not a photographer.

i hear you,i usually do a little better, but i was in a hurry and the flourescent lights in the shop are really weird.i didn't have time to take them all outside for pics b/c i wanted to get the sealer off and have them ready for paint tomorrow.

how'd you guess.it's the only Cooktown ironwood i have ever seen anywhere, straight from Australia.the tree grows in desert like conditions and when they cut the tree down it is under 25% moisture already.it is very dense and heavy and should make a great cue.trying tio figure our if i can use the bubing for a solid handle or if it would be too heavy.

haha..is mine inside the next batch?

yours is actually be in the batch after that one.i apologize for falling behind, but i have been completely swamped and every batch is taking about a month longer than i originally anticipated.

My god! that is some deadly curly maple! my favorite wood!

You have a nice inventory of very nice woods, Mr. Masonh! :)
