The OB-1 shaft is very slightly larger (almost not worth mentioning) at the joint and the pilot was cut off by Steve Lomax. I still don't know the weight, but it's not heavy. I would guess that it's around 19oz.

I am not really sure, but when I bought it I asked that the total weight be around 19oz. I will try to find out the exact weight.

Just curious... are you used to the OB-1 shaft? That could be the difference.

In my experience, the hit of an OB-1 will greatly mask any joint type/material difference from what you are used to... fwiw.
