I just got 6 Hager cue hangers in. Im asking for 11.50 each shipped to your door in the lower 48 states. This is a great item while available. Will support a whole cue for a long time. I had one hanging in the xtra bedroom closet for a month with no issues. I forgot it was there. Nice item.

This may sound like a dumb answer but.......
........it attaches to your shaft and you hang your cue with it.
 
Some feel that it keeps your shaft straighter. Its up to conjecture. I think, why not and have used them for years. Cuemakers can hang up the shafts without any worry of their shafts being nicked up. The sleever is compressed when the shaft is put into it, there is nothing inside which would/could hurt the wood. They are a nice item. I have 6 left at 11.50 shipped
