Thanks for the heads up. I was able to get a room there and cancel my reservation at the Holiday Inn Express. :grin:
I just called and was told that they have rooms available at the rates of $149/$179 a night. The Representative stated that they no longer had any rooms available for the original $105/$130 rate.
i just called and she said that there was nothing for the final weekend at the special rate. Sat 1/30 was $299 and sunday was $149.
Oh well. I guess its at the Holiday Inn we stay...

Monday night I made a reservation on-line for 7 nights and then got the email with the confirmation number. Tuesday night I went back into their system with the confirmation number and it shows as an active valid reservation secured by my credit card. Vinny

I don't know how you found the link that allowed you to reserve under the DCC discount rate, but that was awesome.
I called yesterday and they supposedly didn't have any rooms at that rate etc, but I was able to book online for the 27th-31st just a few minutes ago, and then called to confirm. Thanks for the info, Vinny!:thumbup:

It appears that you have to go thru' the official DCC website. It took me while to figure that trying to access it vial the Harrahs' link did not work, but the reservations link did. Go figure.
FWIW even rooms available thru' that link are now sold out.
