Bryan Fisher of Fisher Cues (www.fishercues.com) sent me these and asked me to post them for him.

Let's say you've got a few shafts and some wood to hang... where do you put it?

He has a very nice set up. I like the way he used the pull drawer slides to hang his wood on. Tim Scruggs told me years ago that he was doing that inside a box. I thought about building myself something like that and could never bring myself to spend the hours upon hours it would take to do it. My hat is off to Bryan for taking the time to set his up like that.

Bryan,
Very nice set up you got there.....Still have a lot of shaft woods you got there buddy:thumbup: I better not look at it too long on those pictures, might have to call you and order some more shaft woods:eek: :D :D :D

Thanks E, I really need to learn to use my camara, The pics it takes of cues are awsome. Someone once asked me what costs the most in cue making, lets not get into the mental/physical costs, I think the tooling, taps, drill bits, different router bits, fixtures for the lathes/machines, rings, joint pins, blades, the small stuff most people never see when coming into the shop are the biggest expence, yeah we spend alot of money on wood, different phenolic rods, tips/ferrules.

Well as the guy who stopped by our shop coming home from vegas said: Not bad for a couple of "wanna bees".

Sorry, your cue is on the other side with the shafts, Most the cue's in pic 8 are orders that will be done sometime Between June-November, hoping to chomp our orders in half by the end of the year, the way things are going we aren't going to make it:thumbup:

Bryan,
Are you interseted in building the slides with the holders mounted to where people could just screw them to the ceiling and go?

I might be, Need to see the light of day around these orders, but my brother might want to do it? I'll look in to it, Can't imagine many would want spend the money (NOT CHEAP). But, I'll look into it.

Hi guys! I've been lurking here for a number months now gaining as much knowledge as I can and even searching old posts for answers to any questions I've had. I've even bought a few things from some of you. Now I found a thread I can contribute to...

Maybe something like a tie/belt rack would work.

With the 90deg. bend, I would think they could be mounted overhead.
Not nearly as large or nice as the ones Fisher has, but maybe a cheap alternative.
His look like they may be made from 19" posts from 2-post relay rack kits for computer equipment that were mounted to full extention slides.

Can't wait 'til Valey Forge!

You guys think this is nice, well we are moving again, and I have some new toys, wait until you see my new cnc inlay machine, and I have a cnc machine that was owned by my favorite cue maker: Mike Lambros. It will be awhile before we get every thing moved and set up, but it is going to be one hell of a shop. Watch out Ernie, I'm coming for you. -------this last comment is tword the fact that Gina cue has one hell of a shop. We will still have a way's to go but I think we are getting there.

Great job there with the shop Bryan!!!

Thanks Doug, this is the old shop, the new one will be over whelming to some "it's huge", And some of the equipment we have now is just SICK we are going to start moving this weekend hopefully be back up and building by the begining of next year.

If you need to lighten the load, maybe a 'moving sale' on shaft wood????:grin:
