but i sure do feel like a dumass right now
carl had sent me an email asking for a second shaft, the first one was asking a price
the email that actually stated he did want to go ahead and get the second shaft went into spam for god knows what reason
i just discovered a feature i didnt know about on aol, where i could search all mail by one particular sender
and thats' how i found it , sent it on my birthday, august 1st and also wished me a happy birthday
i'm so sorry carl, and thanks for the bday greeting
my fault for not getting on the phone more often
hell, he lives within 10 miles of me too :embarrassed2:
added: lesson learned
from here on out, i'll make up a little email spreadsheet thing to confirm cue specs, # of shafts, diameters , etc, etc.
i still cant find the friggin' email where i told him the price
that may have been verbally though, when he & his buddy came to the shop one saturday
good lord, i need a vacation, somewhere with a beach and beer, lots of it

first time i ever hit with a micarta ferrule
