Woody Woodworth Custom Cue

I recently reacquired this cue.
This Woody is an awesome playing cue.
This 18oz. cue is perfectly straight.
On the lathe it has no wobble whatsoever.
It is a beautiful piece of multi-colored Cocobolo with 4 nice walnut points with 1 maple veneer.
This cue has ivory alternating diamond beauty rings @ A,B,C,D & E.
It has a really nicely executed leather wrap.
Ivory flat face joint with G-10 pin.
2 custom grade, like new 29" shafts with ivory ferrules & 13mm. Moori med. tips.
What a bargain, this is a lot of cue for the money.
$850 + S&H.
Value of this cue is $1,500.00.

Woody ain't my cup o tea, but those joint protectors are suhweet! Would you sell them separately?!?!?!?!??!

I kid! A bumpuh for you.

WW cues aren't well known but VERY solid and firm hitters.

I have 2 and they give great feedback feel and sound.

nice ringwork on that one...

Woodworth Cues

Yes,

You are right Woodworth Cues are not that well known.
He is from Dickson, TN.
This is his cell phone if you would like to know anything more about this cue, 615-740-1790
He is however a member of the American Cuemakers Assoc.
I tell you one thing about this cue.
Mike Gulyassy checked it out for me & he said it's a keeper.
It is straight all the way around.
This cue hits really sweeeet!
Ivory joint, G-10 pin & ivory ferrules; need I say more!
He chose a nice piece of Cocobola for the forearm & butt.
I think, walnut beauty rings throughout & ivory diamonds @ A,B,C,D & E pos.
As you can see by the pics, it is really a beautiful cue.

PM me

I think black balled is pulling your leg!

Woody's ? Who wouldn't want one? HillBilly played with a fancy one and may still. When I met him he had just upgraded to a fancier Woody.
Woody said there was a even nicer one on the way for the HillBilly. They both started describing what it was going to turn out like. That was at least 4 years ago.
Haven't seen either of those two since. HillBilly's cue was nice stuff.
Nick :)

I appreciate the info

Thanks for the bump Nick, that's good stuff.
Yea, this cue even spins completely straight on the lathe.
The shafts are matched & they go together nice & snug.
There is no mark or ding on this cue anywhere!
It is like new 98% excellent!

Well good then! I hope the one I had was a misfire...now, back to those joint protectors!

Detail clarification

Those are not joint protectors.
That is the beauty rings that Woody did on the cue & the shafts.
Nice huh.
This cue needs to be seen up close & personal to really be appreciated.
He did a fine job on this one.

lol...i'm pretty sure that blkballed is referring to the foam stuffed in the joints...lol ;)

Yeah, those are some fine looking protectors there.
I think they are some of that new fangled, LOW impact foam.

Real hard to get right now.
High demand for new technology.

LOL
