Here's an 11 tier ring pack that fits in a 4mm area. That's roughly 3/16", or 1/3 the width of a 12mm shaft. There are 6 black, 2 maple, 2 rosewood & 1 maple/rose dash. Just thought i'd share.

Micro rings

Wow.. that's really cool. Or.. each ring is just about the thickness of a line on a ruler. I want a completely stacked micro ring handle on a cue!

Seriously, very nice design and color balance. Something totally new and unique. You sir, are pushing the envelope.

those rings are awesome. your work never ceases to amaze me. keep uthe great work.

Comon Eric... those rings have been done a thousand times... :speechless:

Nice, intricate rings with a distinctive look that is all Sugartree. Nice job! :clapping:

Thanks guys. I'm just trying to keep my identity. I feel like slim shady......"will the real slim shady please stand up?" :banghead::help::lmao: Enough said about that.

Dave, yes I did have to set up a ring cutting jig. I won't go into what it is or how I did it, but I will say I can cut them oober thin. This is about as thin as I can cut them & still be able to touch them. I can cut them much thinner but they crumble when I try to handle them, like butterfly wings.

The rest of the cue:

Truly amazing work! Someday I would LOVE to own one of your cues! I am not interested in the secondary market. I want "My own Sugartree".

If I were dead or not building cues anymore, then it would be fine for somebody to pick it up & keep the style alive. But i'm not dead, and I am building cues, and I currently use the design style I created & honed over the past ten years. I would expect it from a foreign production factory, but never guessed it would be fellow American cuemakers. I can't do anything about but complain, which is no fun so I won't. I'll just raise the bar a little higher.
