bump for a bit@#in cue....

was a big ta-do about refinishing this cue..... cuemaker is a friend and wants to stay out of it,,,,,,

Well hopefully you made the right decision. To my way of thinking, perhaps you should have paid anything Tony asked to refinish the cue, plus he would have probably inlaid the new BB design in the butt that I think would do nothing but add to the value of your investment. Good luck with your sale its a nice cue.

''bb''...........

Man,,,,,what a classic ''bb'', a true player all the way at a very fair price,,,,,,,,,

very few of these around in the u.s.a.............

Authentication from Tony Scianella/BB will probably be needed for any sale of this cue at your posted price, since the buttcap does not contain any form of a BB logo. Lu and Paul.

tony has verified and remembers the cue.....
anyone has any doubts they can call him themselves and tell him it's Butchies cue ordered through pool table magic....

he will vividly remember the cue based on recent discussions with him.........
woulda had tony refininsh but my buddy had 2 months left on earth and 18mo to fininsh a cue and ................ well i wanted my buddy to see it mint before he passed.

i also have few folks in the billiards industry that were involved in this cue and will also verify it...
also--- new price
5200...........

Bb verification,,,,,,,,!!

In speaking to tony at the 2008 expo,,,he said that some of his cues were not signed as ''they were so perfect,,i didn't want to *#@&* with them",,,

he went on to say 'it would take away from the beauty of the wood used in the forearm or the majestic grains of the ivory used in the butt and beside, ,,,everyone knows my work,,,,,just hit with 'em"".......

If you've ever met tony before,, you'll realize he's one of pool's great charecters,,,,,,and his cues are amazing,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,!!

It is, indeed, a Black Boar. I, too, was a friend of Butch Silkey, and I remember when he got the cue and used it in matches we played -- probably about 18-19 years ago.

Beautiful cue owned by a classy guy

I can not afford to buy this cue, but wanted to pass along a few nice words about Butch. He was a truly classy gentleman and one of the nicest people you could ever meet. We lost him far too soon.
