Hey all,

I traded for this cue a few weeks ago with Daniel and although it hits fantastic, I'm looking for something in Purpleheart.

It weighs 19.25oz and is in great shape. I would say around 95%. It comes with two shafts. They are both a shade over 13mm. The balance point is about 19.5" from the butt. It has a Radial pin.

This is a short splice cue and has "real" points unlike many of the AE cues which are done on a CNC. It has a black leather wrap and an Ivory Hoppe ring. The tips are layered and I'm not sure what brand they are but they do play nice. From looking at them I believe they are Moori's but don't hold me to that.
The points and buttsleeve are very black Ebony and it has 4 veneers on each point. They are from the inside out: Natural, Tan, Blue, and Purple. The forearm is really figured Birdseye maple. The pictures do not do this cue justice. You really have to see it to appreciate it.

I called AE and spoke with Bruce regard this design and inquired as to what they charge for something similar. I was informed that they would sell this cue for around $1200. I am offering this one at SOLD + shipping or a trade up or down for something in Purpleheart or possibly something else.

Thanks for looking and if you have any questions please shoot me a pm.

Is the butt chipped ?

Glen

No the butt is not chipped. These are the pics I received from the person I bought it from and I thought that same thing and was worried before I received it. It's just a reflection.

Weekend bump.....

For those of you who may not be familiar with AE cues they are as well made as anything out there. This particular cue plays fantastic and I can honestly say you will be very impressed.

I'm still looking for trades for a Purpleheart cue. I may consider something other than PH.

A very nice ebony Titlist tribute at a good price.
Mr H

Thank you!

I can't believe this is still available at this price.

For those who do not know, Bruce and Jeff at AE make really nice cues. they hit great and the attention to detail is awsome. Don't make a mistake on some of these newer cuemakers selling similar cues for nearly twice the price and no where near the experience. AE has been around since 1992 and their quality will always stand the test of time. IMO they offer one of the best values in the market today.

If you are looking for a classic looking Hoppe style cue you will not find a better value than this cue.
