have always wanted to try one as i heard they play pretty well, so i have been looking to get a Hoppe style since i don't have any in my collection ...

i have heard all the comments on issues with the finish, point work etc but i figured if it played well, why not give it a whirl ...

this arrived on june 13th

will take it out to try next week ....

I envy you man. Looking forward to your review--I really dig the taper of all the Tad handles I've gotten to try.

That linen looks shiny, double pressed! how does it feel?

the cue is brand new ... retail price of $3,000.- is standard

linen is very smooth - i have not played with it yet but as soon as i do, i will write an short review ...

the handle is slim - weight balance works for me - it just falls naturally into my hands :)

today is league day so not really the time to use a new cue ;)

will give it a whirl mid-week, i hope...

Nice cue Kam, I have had a few of those basic four point TAD players and they were great hitting cues.

Take Care and thanks for sharing.

mini review

hi guys,

took the cue out for a spin yesterday ..

will just give you my initial impressions ...

to start, the butt is a little slimmer than what i am used to and as such, if i was a little careless, i would rattle the shot ...

but other than that, the cue is beautifully balanced and plays second fiddle to none ...

it requires minimal effort to move the cue ball
deflection is a non-issue
throw is very easy to gauge

standard follow shots are a breeze
draw is a piece of cake
and inside english is easy executed

this was meant to be picked up and run racks - the is no "learning curve"

point and shoot

it just doesn't get any better

it does scratch easily - i would not recommend one gets a TAD to buy and keep - it will look well worn very shortly so get one that you can really go out and enjoy !

and you will

So would you say that this is the best PLAYER you ever hit with ??

Thanks for sharing Pics and give us that little review.

i really can't say any one cue is the best .... how can you use between a szamboti, black boar, tad, searing ??

they are all great cues ... if you spend a little time with any and if you are in stroke, the cue can do magic... if you're not, no cue is gonna help ...

Took this cue for a spin yesterday. Cue plays good. For a guy who likes a cue to hit hard, I was so surprised that this cue hits harder. Kam and Roy was surprised when I said it. It is still a good solid well built player.

great cue from a master cuemaker

I really like the hit of his cues, his tip is a little hard, but apart from that i really like the way it plays
