Placed the order with Trevor in November of '08. The cue was delivered a couple of days ago. Also included was a "matching" 6" mini-butt, not pictured. The cue looks amazing, and plays GREAT!!

I was playing with a Peradon 1/2 jointed, this cue is a 3/4 joint. I like the hit and feel of the 3/4 better!

Century break coming soon....................

Sweet cue. Congratulations! I've seen a number of Trevor White cues on TheSnookerForum.com and read many very positive reviews.

So what would you say is the first thing you noticed about the 3/4 joint versus the 1/2 joint? Do you play pool, too, and if so do you adopt a different stance and use a different cue when you play pool?

Is the room where you play snooker on my list at findsnooker.com? If not, please let me know the name, city, etc. Over time I'd also like to collect info about players' experiences switching between pool and snooker.

The only down side to dealing with Trevor, is that he is sometimes difficult to get in touch with......being a one-man shop!! He could get an assisstant, but if she was young and pretty he would fall in love and then we would never get a hold of him. LOL!!!!

I do play pool also. I do use a pool cue for pool. As for the stance and stroke..........no, I keep everything the same. The one thing I have noticed however, is I use an open bridge more on the pool table..........snooker habit I guess.

The biggest difference I have seen so far after a few hours of play................is that the 3/4 appears to have less deflection than the 1/2. Also, I can feel more of the shot transfering to my hand........if that makes any sense.

I have a table at home...........however I do play up at On Cue in Grayslake, Illinois.

6 weeks to make the cue and 6 months to get the badge right.

Send him an email mike telling him your having a custom badge made :roflmao

Wity...thats funny!!! You know all in all it worked out. The cue plays fantastic and looks amazing in person!

Mike

Nice looking cue.

Definitely a good move to get 3/4 jointed IMHO. 1/2 jointed snooker cues don't seem to work well - at least I had problems with all of mine. The snooker shaft is just too thin half way up.

When I got my Parris cue some 20 years ago, I got it made as a 1 piece because my previous bad experiences with 1/2 jointed cues. I wish I had it done as a 3/4 job tho - it is such a pain in the backside to carry around that it hardly ever gets used.

AWESOMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!
One of the best looking cues I've ever seen in my life man!!!!!!!!!
Sorry, but I have to ask you this: how much was it?

Hi tksix,

I would like to buy a Trevor White for long long time but I am unable to get his contact. When I see your posted photos, it makes me so eager to have a new one. This is a wonderful cue. Could you please give the contact and the ordering procedures to me. Please please. Million million thanks indeed.

Dunn

Dunn,

Here is his e-mail address. trevor.white@virgin.net

Be patient, he does not answer them quickly. My cue took some time to produce, he had an issue with the badges I guess!!

It was a bit frustrating, however Trev is a nice guy and in the end he made a great cue!!

The cue looks cool, and plays great. I am very pleased with it.

I have noticed a minor crack along side the badge, but I am going to live with it. It does not effect the play!

Good luck.................

Mike

I reckon he has quite a few badges now Mike. LOL.

give him a shout i'm sure he'd send you another. Fitting ones easy just drill it out and glue the replacement in.

Better still imo is to get a brass badge made.with your initials/whatever I've done a couple of my cues with them at great expense of £3.50 each.
Looks far better wuth brass than a bit of plastic.

Hi Mike,

Million thanks for your kind help and I've sent him a message. Anyway, thanks indeed. And wish you 147 in the coming future.

Dunn

Good luck Dunn!! 147!?!? oh man................if I got there no one would be able to talk me for at least a month!!! LOL!!! I will settle for a 101...................

Wity,

the crack is in the wood next to the badge!!

Mike

In the wood itself doh! sounds like a job for superglue?

If i ever get to do a fifty break I'll need a defribulator !
Got so close once last year that i now keep a length of wire in my case and i know where all the sockets are in the club. :D

hey mate i've been looking around at a few cue makers and i'm thinking trevor is the way to go, especially after seeing yours! just wanted to know what wood you have in the splices? is it amboyner burr? absolutely love that bright reddish brown
