NOT SURE WHY THESE ARE CALLED "Plain Jane", BUT THIS ONE IS VERY NICE. CUE IS IN 95-98% CONDITION, AND THE SHAFT IS PRACTICLY UNPLAYED. THE FERRULE IS SLIGHTLY "GREYED" BUT IT CAME THAT WAY FROM JEFF. CUE HAS A FLAWLESS ULTRA SMOOTH, SUPER SOFT BLACK LEATHER WRAP THAT WAS INSTALLED BY PAUL FANELLI. BUTT WEIGHS 15.1 OUNCES, SHAFT IS 12.9MM AND 3.8 OUNCES.

Nice cue and priced very reasonable. Good luck with the sale Marcus

Anyone looking to get an Olney might wanna pick up any they see for sale as Jeff O. has an extremely long wait. I ordered two cues 4+ years ago and I talked to Jeff yesterday and he told me that both are "in the works" still!!! The hit on his cues are phenominal especially ones w/ a 3/8 x 10 joint.

Good luck w/ your sale and bump for an underpriced cue maker!!!

AND THE WAIT JUST KEEPS GETTING LONGER...BUT IT'S WORTH IT. HE MAKES A GREAT CUE.

One thing that is bothering me about this cue is that Jeff allowed the cue to leave his shop with a "dirty" ferrule. I've had it happen to me before when I'm cutting a melamine ferrule - every so often you get a piece that has black stuff in it. He honestly should have redone the ferrule - everything on the cue looks great except that.

IT'S NOT BAD, BUT I WANTED TO MENTION IT. IT CERTAINLY DOESN'T EFFECT THE HIT, SO THAT MAY BE WHY JEFF DIDN'T CHANGE IT.

Totally agree, Marcus. It won't affect the hit. However, I have a problem paying a cuemaker top dollar for a plain jane cue, and having a ferrule that looks less than perfect. This isn't your fault. I know I would never let a cue leave my shop looking like that. For the price of ferrule material and glue ($5), I'm surprised he didn't change the ferrule.

Great looking cue - I've looked at it more than a few times since you put it up!

I owned this cue before Marcus. Jeff Olney called me & told me about the greyed ferrule when he was working on the shaft. I told Jeff O not to worry about it just send it to me anyways. Jeff O sent the shaft for Free. Hope this helps.
