Pooldogue, Tank and Classiccues (JV) better known as the hair club for men failure division...
Mark K and Ken C.. (fourkingcues) Ken was a little late but we enjoyed his company..
Woah!! Too much to take in all at once....Joe's shirt and whatever that is under Marks nose Man, good job I couldn't get over......I would have died before I made a cue deal, lllllllooooooollllllllllll.
Yeah it was a lot of fun a cue or two moved.. maybe the stimulus is working LOL.. yeah ok...
Anyways.. Paul Rubino had one of the better displays and definately one of the more educational. I'll post a pic but in his disply was a presentation cue from 1891.. that's right.. 1891. It had a phenomonal dots inlay pattern AND scrimmed ivory rings. So before we say well this cue maker did this first.. never underestimate what the forefathers were doing. I mean the cue had to have been drilled with like a yankee drill or something.. but a perfect pattern. Must be over 100 dots in the cue as well as a pearl name plate.
He also had some of Rambow's tools, and one of if not the last cue Herman was making at the time of his death. One unique piece he had was a Rambow "test" cue.. where he practiced some signatures, and some other things. Also from near the end of his career. However upon closer inspection there were some inlay pockets.. the surprise.. was there is a diamond or two cut...
So all in all it was a great little show..
