The Midwest Cue Show is not too far away (Sat, Oct 3rd)... this should be a great show that is in close driving distance to many major cities.

Chicago - 4.5 hours
Cleveland - 3.5 hours
Columbus - 1.5 hours
Detroit - 3 hours
Indianapolis - 2 hours
Lexington - 3 hours
Louisville - 3 hours
Nashville - 4 hours
Pittsburgh - 4 hours
St. Louis - 5.5 hours

The Dayton airport is also very close to the venue and normally fares are cheap flying into Dayton. It is also a very easy airport to get in and out of.

Here is a list of hotels that are within 10 minutes of Airway Billiards and close to many restaurants:

Comfort Inn Dayton North - $80
Fairfield Inn Dayton North - $89
Drury Inn Dayton North - $110
Courtyard by Mariott Dayton North - $110

Below is a list of expected attendees. I will continue to update the list as I get more information. Please send me an email or post here if you plan on attending and I will add you to the list. I still have a few displaying spots open also.

I will continue to update everyone as the event draws closer. I am really looking forward to see everyone in October!

Jamie,
I will be in DC that weekend, but man, 450 miles away is a long drive. I am not sure if I will be able to make it.

Cool Todd... looking forward to seeing you!

Tony - you need a flight from DC to Dayton and then to Cali...

You are kilingme

Man, i work that day, cant get it off.....how about a azbilliards member preview friday :)

hope you get tons of people.

Jamie,
The show sounds great and looking at the list of attendees, you are guarenteed to have a top notch event with some outstanding cues, cue makers and collectors. Wish I could be there, but I will most likely be traveling overseas for work.
All the best,
Tom

I've been on a buying spree the past few weeks gearing up for the show. In just the past few weeks I have purchased a Gus hoppe, the Showman gambler, the Hercek Jokers Wild, and another Hercek. I'm close on a purchase of a Black Boar and an 8 point TAD, and have 2 cues coming from Gina in the next 2 weeks. I will be loaded with some Quality Cues for sure. BTW, on 10/3 I will turn 50.

Other Cue and Billiard shows

Okay, I can't make the Dayton show because of a college football conflict. But, I'd like to attend one of these ... somewhere.

How do I find out about billiard shows around the country? I'm willing to travel ... just to attend one of these ... and check out all the neat stuff.

Thanks.

Rummer has it you will be attending Troy... it this true?

Jamie,
Tim just told me that he reserved a spot for us. I am pretty positive I will be there with him. Considering it is in driving range, I should be able to bring alot of cues.
Until then,
Take care.

I was thinking of making this show since it is driving distance, does anyone have any extra display cases?

I would probably bring about 60-100 cues and I don't have any way to display them.

I will be there to browse. Gotta love a show that is just 20 miles up the road! :)

I'll bring my 1 of 1 ebony and snakewood Gina and my 1 of 1 ebony on ebony Zinzola to show you guys, but most people have seen them already in photos through threads here.

Looking forward to the show,
Tom
